From downtown Portland: Estimated drive time is 2 to 2.5 hours to start/finish area.
Driving time from downtown Portland to exit #95 is about 1.75 hours (103 miles). From there it's a little less than 1 hours drive to the start finish area.
Take Interstate 5 to exit 95 (Maytown and Littlerock exit about 13 miles north of Centralia, WA). Head west on Maytown Road for about 3 miles to the town of Littlerock. Go straight at Littlerock Road junction and continue west out of town on 128th Ave. Take 128th Ave for ¾ mile to a T intersection. Take a right on Waddell Creek Road for about 4 miles to another T intersection. Take a left on Sherman Valley road 1.4 miles to a split. Go left on C-Line forest road (a winding partially paved/gravel road). Stay on C-Line forest road for about 3 miles to C-6000. Take a left on C-6000 and travel about 2 1/2 miles to the Falls Creek Day Use Area.
From downtown Seattle: Estimated drive time is 1.5 to 2 hours to start/finish area.
Driving time from downtown Seattle to Olympia (60 miles) exit #104 is 1 hour. From Olympia to the start finish area is an additional 40-45 minutes.
From Interstate 5 at Olympia, take Exit #104 and follow U.S. Highway 101 west for 2 miles. Take the West Olympia, Black Lake exit and head south on Black Lake Boulevard. Go 4 miles to a T intersection. Take a left on Delphi Road, and travel approximately 2 miles to Wadell Creek Road. Take a right on Wadell Creek Road and travel approximately 3 miles to Sherman Valley Road. Continue straight on Sherman Valley Road for 1.4 miles to a split. Go left on C-Line forest road (a winding partially paved/gravel road). Stay on C-Line forest road for about 3 miles to C-6000. Take a left on C-6000 and travel about 2 1/2 miles to the Falls Creek Day Use Area.
Parking Instructions: Parking is limited at the start/finish area. Car pooling is recommended and the Top Foods grocery or Barnes and Nobles shopping center (off of Black Lake Blvd) in West Olympia, which are two convenient meeting locations. The road up to the start is a windy and gravelly road. Car pooling will reduce congestion in the start/finish area. DO NOT PARK IN THE CAMPGROUND, UNLESS YOU CAMP FRIDAY NIGHT! Please follow directions from parking monitors on where to park. You must park in the designated areas only. Designated areas include the Falls Creek Day Use Area and along the main C-6000 road entering the start/finish area. Please follow directions from the Parking monitors on where to park!
