This is the approximate accumulative elevation gain and loss and distance for the 50 mile course. The TOPO! National Geographic software may be approximatly 3.5 miles short by distance and about 300-500 ft elevation gain less then the actual course profile. Most importantly, this profile is not an exact measurement! However, this profile does show the general topography in which the 50 mile course climbs up peaks and descends into valleys or gently rolls along ridges and valleys. NOTICE: the course after Wedekind descends to only about 1250 feet instead of descending into Hells Creek canyon.
